Dune Rats Bio

Dune Rats, a dynamic Australian punk rock trio, burst onto the music scene in 2011, leaving an indelible mark with their infectious energy and rebellious spirit. Comprising vocalist/guitarist Danny Beausa, bassist Brett Jansch, and drummer BC Michaels, the band quickly gained recognition for their raucous live performances and candid, relatable lyrics.

Hailing from Brisbane, Dune Rats embraced a carefree and DIY ethos, establishing themselves as a force within the punk and garage rock revival. Their self-titled debut album in 2014, followed by "The Kids Will Know It's Bullshit" in 2017, solidified their reputation as purveyors of anthemic, no-nonsense punk. Their discography also invludes the hit singles “Scott Green”, “Bullshit”, “No Plans”, “Too Tough Terry”, “Red Light Green Light”, and the albums “Hurry Up And Wait” and “Real Rare Whale.”

They have received two ARIA Award nominations for Best Rock Album and Best Hard Rock or Heavy Metal Album.
