Durand Jones & The Indications Bio
Durand Jones & The Indications is an American Soul and R&B music group formed in Bloomington, Indiana in 2012. The current members of the group are Durand Jones on vocals, Aron Frazer on drums, Black Rhein on guitar, Kyle Houpt on bass guitar, and Steve Okonski on the organ. The band started when five friends started playing together while attending Indiana University in Bloomington, Indiana. They released their debut single in 2015 titled “Smile.” The group was signed to the label Colemine Records and in 2016 released their debut studio album self-titled Durand Jones & The Indications. In 2018 the record label Dead Oceans reissued the group’s debut studio album with live material from their shows. They released their second studio album in 2019 titled American Love Call.
