Dusty Ray Bottoms is an American drag performer born September 27, 1987, in Louisville, Kentucky, USA. When she was growing up, her nickname Dusty Ray, was a shortened version of her boy name Dustin Rayburn. Dusty Ray moved to New York in pursuit of an acting career but she had to work as a waitress to earn a living. While she was working in the restaurant, her coworkers teased her by yelling in the restaurant "Dusty Ray Bottoms!". Dusty Ray started her career by posting her first modeling shots at the beginning of 2014. After that, she became one of the most popular reality stars in the USA. In March 2018, she joined an American reality competition television series, the tenth season of RuPaul's Drag Race, where she finished in 11th place. She can often be seen with fellow contestants on the series such as Alexis Michelle, Bob The Drag Queen, and Miz Cracker.
