Dylan Larkin Bio
American ice hockey player, Dylan Larkin was born on 30th July 1996 in Waterford, Michigan. He has served as captain of the Detroit Red Wings of the NHL. He started his amateur years with Detroit Belle Tire and also participated in the 2009 Quebec International Pee-Wee Hockey Tournament. He played for the U-17 US Hockey team in the 2012-13 season. In 2013, he was selected to play for the CCM/USA Hockey All-American Prospects Game. He was ranked 17th among draft-eligible North American skaters by the NHL Central Scouting Bureau. He was drafted by Detroit Red Wings in the 2014 NHL Entry Draft. He was assigned to the AHL affiliate of the team, the Grand Rapids Griffins. He debuted in October 2015. In November, he earned the NHL Rookie of the Month title after scoring a goal in four consecutive games. In 2016, he was named to the NHL All-Star Game. He also set the record for the fastest skater at the NHL during the NHL All-Star Game Super Skills Competition.
