Born in the Netherlands, Jordy van Egmond made a name for himself internationally as a skilled DJ, eventually taking the stage name Dyro. He was recognized as one of the breakthrough artists of 2012 when he was only 21 years old, and in 2013, he placed at the #30 spot on the DJ Mag Top 100 poll, the youngest DJ to do so. Since his breakthrough, he has released a number of tracks as well as EPs. His first release, titled Dirty Mind, featured four tracks and was released in the summer of 2011. His second EP, however, gained much attention and was titled Wrecked / AMP, featuring two tracks and was released a month after his first. Dyro later gained much critical acclaim for his original mix “Daftastic”, and in 2013, he and fellow DJ Hardwell collaborated at the Ultra Music Festival in Miami to debut their track “Never Say Goodbye”, which thrust them both into the spotlight and became one of the most popular songs to emerge from the festival.
