Eagle-Eye Cherry is a Swedish singer and actor born in Stockholm, Sweden on May 7, 1968. He is best known for his hit single “Save Tonight” which charted in the United States, the UK, Ireland, and New Zealand. At 12 years old, he was sent to New York City to attend school. In 1988 he made his acting debut in the film Arthur 2: On the Rocks and also had a role on the television show South Beach. He returned to Stockholm, Sweden in 1995 to focus on his music career. In 1997 he released his debut studio album titled Desireless with the label Diesel. The album charted in numerous countries and was certified gold by the BPI, platinum by the RIAA, and double platinum by the SNEP. He has since released the albums Living in the Present Future, Sub Rosa, Can’t Get Enough, and Streets of You. He has also released one live album in 2007 titled Live and Kicking.
