Eagles of Death Metal Bio
Coming from Palm Desert, California, Eagles of Death Metal was formed in 1998. Originally, the band was a side project of Josh Homme and Jesse Hughes. The two have been bonding with music since childhood. Though they went separate ways in their formative years, they then worked together to form Eagles of Death Metal releasing their debut music on Homme’s ongoing “Desert Sessions” series.
In 2006, Eagles of Death Metal released their "Death by Sexy" album and toured with The Strokes, leading up to their second album "Heart On" in 2008. However, the band went on hiatus soon after, while Homme went back to play for Queens of the Stone Age. Eagles of Death Metal eventually released their album “Zipper Down” in October 2015.
