East 17 is an English pop boy band formed in Walthamstow, England in 1991. The current members of the group are Terry Coldwell and Robbie Craig. During the 1990s, they were one of the UK’s most popular boy bands. They have sold over 18 million albums worldwide and have had 18 top 20 singles and 4 top 10 albums. The group formed in 1991 and were signed to the record label London Records. In 1992 they released their debut studio album titled Walthamstow. They have since released the albums Steam, Up All Night, Resurrection, and Dark Light. They have also released four compilation albums and one EP. The group has been nominated for several awards and have won two Bravo Otto Awards for Best Pop Band (Bronze) in 1993 and 1994.
