Ed Maverick Bio

Ed Maverick, also known as Eduardo Hernández Saucedo, is a Mexican folk guitarist and singer/songwriter born in Delicias, Chihuahua in 2001. In 2017 he started posting his songs on social media, and a year later he released “Mix Pa Llorar en Tu Cuarto” with Universal Music. The album, containing the hit single “Fuentes de Ortiz”, was later certified gold. In 2019 he was regarded by Spotify as one of the most viral artists, with his daily streamings jumping from 5,000 to 450,000 in a short timespan. Later that year he also set a record for the quickest sold-out shows in two of Ciudad de México’s most important venues. Maverick has played in the main stage of the Vive Latino festival, and in 2020 he released a single titled “Nos Queda Mucho Dolor Por Recorrer"
