Eddie Trunk is a TV host and author born on 8th August 1964 in New Jersey, United States. He is widely recognized for hosting several heavy metal- and hard rock-themed shows on radio and television. He started writing reviews of records when he was still in high school. In 1986, he got a job at the record label Megaforce Records. By age 25, he had become the vice president of the record label. It’s said he was the force behind reviving the career of Ace Frehley.
Between 1983 and 1994, he worked at WDHA. Over that period, he produced, hosted, and programmed a popular metal show on the radio. He also hosted Saturday Night Rocks and Friday Night Rocks for WNEW-FM. He has also written two books, titled “Heavy Metal Vol 1 & 2” and “Essential Hard Rock”. Trunk is also the host of the show “Trunk Nation” on Sirius XM Radio channels.
