Edi Mūe Gathegi is a Kenyan-American actor, producer, and director best known for his work in film and television. He was born in Nairobi, Kenya, on March 10, 1979. Edi began his acting career in 2006 when he appeared in the film Crank. He has since been a regular on the TV series For All Mankind, StartUp, The Blacklist, The Blacklist: Redemption, Proof, Family Tools, and House. Edi’s filmography includes The Harder They Fall, X-Men: First Class, Twilight, My Bloody Valentine, Gone Baby Gone, Princess of the Row, and Atlas Shrugged: Part 1, but he is best known for starring in the adventure-drama film The Twilight Saga: New Moon alongside Kristen Stewart, Robert Pattinson, Taylor Lautner, Anna Kendrick, and Christian Serratos. Edi has won multiple awards including a Jury Prize at the Las Vegas International Film & Screenplay Festival for Best Actor, a Festival Award at the Festival Award for Best Actor, and a Presidential Award at the Columbus International Film & Video Festival.
