Born in Anstruther, Fife, Scotland, on January 15, 1975, Edith Eleanor Bowman is a Scottish TV presenter, radio DJ, and actor. She began her career in entertainment in the early 2000s when she became a newsreader on MTV UK and presented the radio show Hit Music Sunday on Capital London with Cat Deeley. She has since worked on the radio stations BBC Radio 1, BBC Radio 6 Music, BBC Radio 5 Live, and Virgin Radio UK. Edith has appeared on the TV series The Xtra Factor, Top of the Pops, Liquid News, MTV Hot, Make My Day, and The Afternoon Play. She presented the documentary series Life Cinematic, hosting celebrity guests Sofia Coppola, Sam Mendes, Edgar Wright, and Sam Taylor-Johnson.
