Ejeca Bio

Ejeca, aka Garry McCartney, is DJ and music producer born in Belfast, North Ireland. Being a fan of the 90s garage house, Ejeca has found his passion early in his life. Working hard on his craft, he quickly became one of the most recognizable Northern Irish techno artists. His first Vinyl-only released record was Tusk Wax Five EP was a step forward in the global techno universe that made him a relevant member of the field. His big break came after twelve years of performing when two of his tracks were named Essential Tune of the Week on Pete Tong’s BBC Radio 1 show. Experimenting with different genres, including disco, garage, and deep house, with the unusual treatment of the vocal component, make him a relevant character of the worldwide music community. Ejeca is still active as a songwriter and musician. His last released record was EP Sunburst from 2020.
