El DeBarge Bio
Eldra Patrick DeBarge is an American singer and songwriter, musician and producer. Hailing from Michigan he was known locally for singing in church. Starting off with a career that included singing with his family under Motown records, the group was called DeBarges and they released four albums and became hits during the 80’s .
Then going solo, El DeBarge sang across many genres including soul, pop, gospel and R&B. Some of his most popular group work includes singles such as All This Love, Time Will Reveal. As a soloist he is known for his high tenor and strong falsetto, he is known for his solo hits Who’s Johnny and Love Always. DeBarge has also been nominated for a Grammy three times over.
