Eleftherios Petrounias, also known as Lefteris, is a Greek artistic gymnast known for his decorated career as an Olympian and his gymnastics content on social media. He was born in Athens, Greece, on November 30, 1990.
Eleftherios began competing in artistic gymnastics at a young age, but he turned professional in 2011 when he competed in his first European Championships in Berlin. He has since had a very successful career specializing in the rings classification of gymnastics, winning six gold medals at the European Championships, three gold medals at the World Championships, and a gold medal at the Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, beating second place Arthur Zanetti and third place Denis Ablyazin.
