Elephante is the stage name of the American DJ and producer Tim Wu. He was born in Ann Arbor, Michigan on November 10, 1989. Wu is currently located in Los Angeles, California and produces progressive house music. From a young age, he taught himself how to play the guitar and was classically trained to play piano. After graduating from college he initially wanted to pursue a music career as an acoustic singer and songwriter, but instead started making electronic dance music. He started going under the stage name Elephante and was remixing other artists songs. In 2015 he released his debut original single titled “Temporary Love.” He self-released his debut EP in 2016 titled I Am the Elephante and in 2018 followed it up with his second EP titled Glass Mansion.
