Elise Demetria Neal is an American actress, dancer, and producer best known for her work in film and television. She was born in Memphis, Tennessee, the United States on March 14, 1966. Elise joined the entertainment industry as a dancer in many music videos and TV shows, and she made her acting debut in 1991 when she appeared in the TV series Another World. She has since been a regular on the TV series Loving, SeaQuest 2032, The Hughleys, All of Us, My Manny, K-Ville, A.N.T. Farm, Belle's, and The Black Hamptons. Her filmography includes Hustle & Flow, Scream 2, I Left My Girlfriend for Regina Jones, The White Sistas, Computer Love, Lord, All Men Can't Be Dogs, The Perfect Man, and How to Be A Player, but she is best known for starring in the action-sci-fi film Logan alongside Hugh Jackman, Patrick Stewart, Dafne Keen, Elizabeth Rodriguez, and Boyd Holbrook. Elise received a Screen Actors Guild nomination for Outstanding Performance by a Cast in a Motion Picture and three NAACP nominations for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture and Outstanding Actress in a Comedy Series.
