Elizabeth Ann Perkins is an American actress and television personality who was born on November 18th 1960 in Queens, New York City, New York, United States. Her mother Jo Williams was a concert Pianist and Drug Treatment Counselor, while her father James Perkins was a businessman, farmer and writer. Elizabeth graduated with a BFA acting certificate from DePaul University in Chicago in 1981.
Elizabeth rose to fame after starring as Celia Hodes in the critically acclaimed movie Weeds. She is also known for perfectly playing Wilma Flintstone in The Flintstones movie and also for her small role in Ghostbusters (2016). Elizabeth also starred in the 1994 remake of Miracle on 34th Street. She received two Golden Globe nominations for Best Supporting Actress in a TV Series, Miniseries or Made for TV Motion Picture and she was also nominated for an Emmy Award three times for Best Supporting Actress in a Comedy Series for her work on Weeds.
