Ellysse Mason Bio
Ellysse is a renowned singer/songwriter from Manchester who began playing guitar when she was about 13 years old, and also began writing songs immediately after learning her first cover, Katy Perry's I Kissed A Girl.
However, as amazing as she is, this was not what got Ellysse started in music. She was on a family vacation not long before she began playing guitar, and her grandmother put up a DVD of Jack Johnson performing live in Hawaii (or somewhere sunny), and Ellysse thought to herself, "that's what I want to do."
It really encouraged her to become an acoustic artist, and meeting folks like Joni Mitchell and Taylor Swift along the way solidified her decision.
