Emeraude Toubia is a Mexican-Lebanese actress, model, and TV hostess, born March 1, 1989, in Montreal, Quebec, Canada. She is best known for her roles in Spanish-language telenovelas and the TV series Shadowhunters. Emeraude began dancing at a young age, gaining public attention, and soon became a presenter on the children's TV show Mundo de Ninos. She competed in beauty pageants, earning the titles of Miss South Texas, Miss Rio Grande Valley, and Young Miss Brownsville. She gained fame after competing in the television beauty contest Nuestra Belleza Latina and winning first place, which boosted her modeling career. Emeraude made her acting debut in the series Aurora. She later appeared in the movies Tattooed Love with Edy Ganem and Laura Flannery, and Shadowhunters, alongside Katherine McNamara, Dominic Sherwood, and Matthew Daddario.
