Emily Ann Roberts is an American singer, guitarist, and songwriter, born on October 23, 1998, in Knoxville, Tennessee. She is best known for her performances on NBC's talent competition The Voice. Emily expressed an interest in singing at a young age, making her first public appearances at church, local restaurants, and singing competitions. In 2015 she was invited to a blind audition to take part in the talent show called The Voice and joined Blake Shelton's team. She finished in second place in the finale of Season 9 while Jordan Smith from Team Adam Levine won the competition. She published the Christian CD Bigger Than Me in 2017, which she promoted with The Gospel Through Girls and Guitar. In 2018, she signed with Starstruck Records and released two songs, Stuck on Me + You and I Got Forever. On July 12, 2019, she released the EP Someday Dream.
