Emily Calandrelli, also known as The Space Gal, is an American TV personality, science educator, former MIT Engineer, and social media influencer best known for her work in television. She was born in Morgantown, West Virginia, United States, on May 18, 1987.
While studying at MIT, Emily interned at NASA, an experience that significantly informed her career path. She became famous in 2014 when she became the host of the science documentary series Xploration Outer Space. Emily has also appeared in the TV series Physics Girl, Bill Nye Saves the World, Today, The Drew Barrymore Show, StarTalk, The Dengineers, and Emily's Wonder Lab.
