Emily Capell Bio

Emily Capell is a musician who comes from North West London. She has been the featured artist on Milk Kan’s “Lego/Question This.” In 2014, she released the EP “Who Framed Winston Silcott” which contains four tracks specifically “Plastic,” “The Strut,” “It’s Happening Again,” and “From the Bombs to the Beatles.” In the same year, she released the singles “Joey” and “Who Killed Smiley Culture?” The next year, she dropped the single “Brixton Prison.”

Capell’s music has also been featured on BBC London, BBC 6Music, and Radio X. She has been a monthly residence in Camden Town’s Dublin Castle and at Proud Galleries. She has also played with Billy Bragg at Leftfield and at Strummerville Stage in Glastonbury. She has also performed gigs at festivals like Into the Wild.
