Emily Deschanel is an American actress, producer, and director best known for her career in film and television. She was born in Los Angeles, California, United States, on October 11, 1976. She began her screen acting career in 1994 when she appeared in the film It Could Happen to You. Emily has since appeared in the TV series Devil in Ohio, Animal Kingdom, Providence, and Rose Red. She is best known for starring in the crime series Bones alongside David Boreanaz, Michaela Conlin, Tamara Taylor, T.J. Thyne, and John Francis Daley. Her filmography includes the titles My Sister's Keeper, Boogeyman, Glory Road, and The Perfect Family.
