Emma Mackey Bio
Emma Mackey is a French-British actress, born on January 4, 1996, in Le Mans, France. She gained international fame as Maeve Wiley on the Netflix original series Sex Education, where she starred alongside Asa Butterfield and Gillian Anderson.
Emma studied English Language and Literature at the University of Leeds, where she has directed and appeared in several student productions. She moved to London to pursue a career in acting. She debuted in the TV horror film Badger Lane in 2016. The actress appeared on three seasons of Sex Education and received positive reviews for her work. On the big screen, she had a leading role in several films like The Winter Lake alongside Anson Boon and Charlie Murphy, and Eifel opposite Romain Duris.
