Emma Raducanu Bio

Emma Raducano is a British professional tennis player who was born on November 13, 2002, in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The family moved to England when Emma was two years old, and she took up tennis at the age of five. She began her career as a junior, winning the ITF Chandigarh Lawn Tennis girls tournament in 2018, and later that year, she made it to the girls’ singles quarterfinals at the Wimbledon Championships and the US Open. In 2018 and 2019, she alternated between her junior and professional careers. In 2021, she competed in the 2021 Nottingham Open but lost in the first round, and in late June, she competed at the Wimbledon Championship and made it to the fourth round, but had to retire from the match due to having breathing problems. In that year, she also played the Silicon Valley Classic but lost in the first round.  She also participated in the US Open and won.
