Enes Kanter Freedom is an American professional basketball player who plays as a center in the NBA. He was born in Zürich, Switzerland, on May 20, 1992. Enes spent his formative years playing for Stoneridge Preparatory School, and he turned professional in 2008 when he signed with the Turkish side Fenerbahçe. He switched over to the NBA in 2011 when he was selected by Utah Jazz in the first round of the NBA. He has since represented the NBA teams like the Boston Celtics, Oklahoma City Thunder, New York Knicks, and Portland Trail Blazers, and throughout his time in Boston, Enes played alongside Jayson Tatum, Jaylen Brown, Robert Williams III, and AL Horford. His career highlights include FIBA Europe U18 Championship MVP and Albert Schweitzer Tournament Most Talented Player.
