Enrique Murciano is an American actor born in 1973 in Miami, Florida. He briefly attended Tulane University in New Orleans, but dropped out and moved to Los Angeles to pursue a full-time acting career. In 1997 he had his film debut in the set of “Speed 2: Cruise Control,” starring Sandra Bullock. In the early 2000s he made appearances in several movies, including “Black Hawk Down” and “Traffic.” However, his breakthrough role came when he portrayed FBI agent Danny Taylor in CBS’s “Without a Trace” from 2002 to 2009. This performance earned Murciano two nominations for the ALMA Awards, in 2008 and 2009 respectively. Murciano then would go on to take part in the films “Miss Congeniality 2: Armed and Fabulous” and “How to Go Out on a Date in Queens.” In 2014 he co-starred in the film “Dawn of the Planet of the Apes.”
