EO is the stage name of the English rapper, music producer, and YouTuber Edwin Onokhua. He was born in London, England on June 22, 2001. He is known for his African Boy Sings and African Boy Raps comedy videos on YouTube. Onokhua started his YouTube channel eocrossover in 2016. He has amassed a following of 230k subscribers with over 14.5 million video views. EO initially posted comedy skits and parodies to his channel, but was encouraged by his fans to release some serious original music. In 2018 he released his debut single titled “German.” The song reached number 13 on the UK Singles chart and was certified platinum by the BPI. That same year he was chosen as artist of the day by Urban Music Awards and artist of the week by Apple Music. He has also been featured on Amelia Monéts’ debut single titled “Baddest” which charted at number 91 on the UK Singles chart.
