Eric Bogosian was a world-renowned American actor and writer. He was born in Boston on April 24, 1953, but was raised in Woburn, Massachusetts. He attended the University of Chicago and graduated from Oberlin College in 1976 before he moved to New York.
Eric is best known for his role as Captain Daniel Ross on the hit TV show Law and Order. He authored six plays and starred in a number of them including subUrbia and the Pulitzer-nominated Talk Radio (1987) the latter of which helped propel his career. He was critically acclaimed for his role as Satan in the 2005 play The Last Days of Judas Iscariot directed by Philip Seymour Hoffman.
Eric authored three novels; Mali, Wasted Beauty and Perforated Heart. He also wrote a non-fiction history novel Operation Nemesis: The Assassination Plot that Avenged the Armenian Genocide which was published in 2015.
