Eric Braeden is an American actor born in Bredenbek, Germany on April 3, 1941. He is best known for his roles on The Young and the Restless, The Rat Patrol, Colossus: The Forbin Project, and Titanic. Braeden has had a very long and successful career in acting and has been nominated for numerous awards throughout his career. He has won two Daytime Emmy Awards among many more awards and received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 2007. He has had roles in shows and films like Combat!, The Man from U.N.C.L.E., Mission: Impossible, The Rat Patrol, 100 Rifles, Hawaii Five-0, The Young Rebels, Gunsmoke, McCloud, Death Scream, Airwolf, The Nanny, The Man Who Came Back, and many others. In 2017 he celebrated his 37th anniversary with the soap opera he is best known for The Young and The Restless. Before and while acting he was involved in several different sports and won the German National Team Championship in Track and Field in 1958 and the 1973 National Challenge Cup with the soccer club Maccabi Los Angeles. He released his autobiography in 2017 titled I’ll Be Damned.
