Eric Christian von Fricken Bio
Eric Christian von Fricken is a Brooklyn-based composer and piano guru who was born in 1991 in Halfmoon, New York. He is known for his unwavering focus on melody and storytelling while respecting classical traditions. His most considerable intent is to resonate with listeners and evoke the strongest emotions. Eric’s parents enrolled him for piano lessons in a music studio in New York at age 5.
At the start of the 2000s, Eric began composing music. His music featured modern film and traditional composers, creating a unique blend of modern music. Later, he joined Berklee College of Music in Boston to study Film Scoring. Today, most of his music is inspired by his travels worldwide. Notably, he is mostly in Paris, a city that has influenced his creations and performance methods. Eric released his debut solo piano album in 2020.
