Eric Clapton Bio
Multi-faceted guitarist and songwriter, Eric Clapton was born in England in 1945. He is ranked among the most famous guitarists of all time. His 1992 single track, “Tears in Heaven” was written after his son passed away. It became a super hit. Eric belongs to a family tradition of music. He has a brilliant history of success with tracks like “Layla”, “Wonderful Tonight” and “Crossroads”. Songs like “Ramblin on My Mind” and “What I’d Say” are regarded as the timeless blues. He joined many bands during his musical journey but eventually left almost all of them because of his own lack of content. Nevertheless, because of his highly original compositions, he is ranked second in the “100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time” by Rolling Stone magazine and fourth in the “Top 50 Guitarists of All-Time” by Gibson Guitar Corporation.
