Erica Wheeler Bio
Erica Wheeler is a professional basketball player who was born on 2nd May 1991 in Miami, Florida. In her early years, she was part of the basketball team at Parkway Academy. In 2009, she committed to playing for the Rutgers team. Her team entered the NCAA tournament in her first three seasons. As a junior, she led the team in steals and averaged a little under 10 points per game. In 2015, she bagged a tryout for the Atlanta Dream after not being drafted by the WNBA. However, she signed a free-agent contract and finally made it to the WNBA in 2015. She remained an undrafted agent for six seasons of the WNBA and became the first ever undrafted player to be named the All-Star WNBA Game MVP in 2019. She has appeared for games of teams like the New York Liberty, Sampaio Basquete, Indiana Fever and Los Angeles Sparks.
