Erik Thomas Shoji is an American professional volleyball player who represents the U.S. in international competitions. He was born in Honolulu, Hawaii, United States, on August 24, 1989.
Erik began his professional volleyball career in 2009 when he signed with Stanford Cardinal, and he has since represented the teams CV Mitteldeutschland, Hypo Tirol Innsbruck, Berlin Recycling Volleys, Lokomotiv Novosibirsk, Taiwan Excellence Latina, Fakel Novy Urengoy, and ZAKSA Kędzierzyn-Koźle. Erik won bronze at the 2016 Rio Summer Olympics with a United States team that also featured Matthew Anderson, Aaron Russell, Taylor Sander, and Micah Christenson.
He has also won gold medals at the 2015 Japan FIVB World Cup, 2014 Florence FIVB World League, and 2017 United States NORCECA Championship.
