Esmée Denters is a singer born on 28th September 1988 in Arnhem, Netherlands. She is best known for uploading cover songs of musicians like Natasha Bedingfield and Justin Timberlake on her YouTube channel. She is among the first YouTubers to earn more than 100 million views on the platform. She also became the first artist to be signed to Justin Timberlake’s first music label, Tennman Records. Timberlake was the executive producer of her first album, “Outta Here”.
The album, which was released in January 2010, charted in Belgium and peaked at number 5 in the Netherlands. The third single in the album, “Love Dealer”, reached number 68 and 12 in the UK and Netherlands, respectively. Denters has also performed on tours with the likes of N-Dubz, Enrique Iglesias, and Ne-Yo. In January 2011, she started working on her second studio album, titled “Screaming Out Loud”. She also competed in the reality show “The Voice UK” in 2015 but was eliminated in the knockout stage.
