Ester Dean, whose full birth name is Esther Renay Dean, is an American songwriter, singer and actress who was born on April 15, 1986, in Muskogee, Oklahoma. As a songwriter, she has earned the nickname of “The Song Factory” as she has written many songs for several artists, reaching some of them Top 10 hits. She has also produced Rihanna’s famous album Loud, for which she received a nomination at the 2012 Grammy Awards. As an actress, she has lent her voice to several animated characters, participating in movies like “Rio” in 2011, “Ice Age: Continental Drift” in 2012 and “Trolls World Tour” in 2020. She also participated in the musical movies “Pitch Perfect” from 2012 and “Pitch Perfect 2” from 2012, movies starred by Anna Kendrick and Rebel Wilson, for which she received, as part of the cast, the Best Musical Moment at the MTV Movie Awards from 2012.
