Evan Fournier was born on October 29, 1992 in Saint-Maurice, France. His career began in 2009 when he played for JSF Nanterre of the LNB Pro B for a one-year contract. After that, he played for the Poitiers Basket 86 of the LNB Pro A on a two-year deal. In 2012 when his contract was finished, he joined the Denver Nuggets after selected as the 20th overall pick in the NBA draft.
After a few successful seasons with the Denver Nuggets, Fournier joined the Orlando Magic 2014. He is presently still with the Orlando Magic and signed a five-year $85 million contract in 2016 with the team. Fournier has earned 3 Bronze medals at the 2014 FIBA Basketball World Cup.
