Evangeline Lilly Bio

Evangeline Lilly is a Canadian actress born in Fort Saskatchewan, Canada on August 3, 1979. She is best known for her role in the show Lost and her roles in the films Ant-Man, Ant-Man and the Wasp, The Hobbit Series, and Avengers: End Game. She was discovered by a Ford Modeling Agency agent while in Kelowna, British Columbia and started acting in commercials. Lilly made her debut on television in 2001 in the television show Smallville and continued landing roles in the shows Tru Calling, Kingdom Hospital, and Lost. In 2003 she made her debut in film in the movie Stealing Sinatra and has since had roles in the films The Lizzie McGuire Movie, Freddy vs. Jason, White Chicks, The Long Weekend, The Hurt Locker, Afterwards, Real Steel, The Hobbit: The Desolation of Smaug, The Hobbit: The Battle of the Five Armies, Ant-Man, Little Evil, Ant-Man and the Wasp, Avengers: Endgame, and Dreamland. She also voiced a character in the video game Call of Duty: Black Ops 4. Throughout her career she has been nominated for a number of awards and has won a Screen Actors Guild Award, a Gotham Award, and an MTV Movie Award.
