Everlast Bio

Everlast is the stage name of Erik Francis Schrody (August 18, 1969.) who is an American blues and rock singer, songwriter and actor. Schrody was known for his work with hip-hop group House of Pain and hip hop group La Coka Nostra. Still working with House of Pain, Schordy’s first album as Everlast was released in 1990 titled ‘Forever Everlasting’. His second solo album arrived in 1998 titled ‘Whitey Ford Sings the Blues’, 8 years after ‘Forever Everlasting’ was released. The album produced two of his top hits at the time, ‘What It’s Like’ and ‘Ends’. Everlast then went to collaborate with Santana for his 1999 album ‘Supernatural’. Their song, ‘Put Your Lights On’, received a Grrammy award for Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals in 2000. In 2006, Everlast approached former House of Pain members to join La Coka Nostra, releasing a debut album titled ‘A Brand You Can Trust’ in 2009 with Snoop Dogg, Q-Unique, B-Real amongst many others. Whilst still with La Coka Nostra, Everlast released ‘Love, War and the Ghost of Whitey Ford’ in through his own label, Martyr, Inc. His latest work, ‘Whitey Ford’s House of Pain’ was released in 2018.
