Everything but the Girl, otherwise known as EBTG is an English music duo consisting of lead singer and guitarist Tracey Thorn, born in Hertfordshire on the 26th of September 1962. Alongside Ben Watt, guitarist, keyboardist, singer and producer born on the 6th of December 1963 in Marylebone, London.
With twelve albums released between 1984 to 2005, their first album Eden is certified gold, and their biggest hit thus far is their album Amplified Heart, containing the hit song Missing, an international success that reached top ten around the world and peaked at number two in the United States. With nominations from the MTV EMA;s Brit Awards and Ivor Novello Awards, the duo is currently on hiatus and are expected to reunite in the near future.
