Ewan McGregor Bio
Ewan McGregor is a Scottish actor, known for his versatility and ability to take on any role. Some of his best-known roles are Mark Renton in the drama film Trainspotting and it’s sequel. Obi-Wan Kenobi in the Star Wars Prequel Trilogy, Christian in the musical Moulin Rouge! Most recently McGregor portrayed Lumiere in the successful live action remake of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast.
With over thirty nominations in various awards, McGregor has worked extensively in television as well as film, best known for portraying Duncan Steward in ER and Emmit Stussy and Ray Stussy in the hit television show Fargo, for which he won a Golden Globe and was nominated for an Emmy. On stage the actor has portrayed Henry in The Real Thing, Iago in Shakespeare’s Othello and Sky in Guys and Dolls.
