Born on September 5, 1986, Ezra Furman came from Chicago, Illinois. Her musical influence was Bob Dylan. Furman worked with Job Mukkada and Jordan Kozer (called the Harpoons) as her backing band in 2006. After a while, they released “Banging Down the Doors” as their debut under Minty Fresh in 2007.
After a year of extensive tour, Furman wrote songs for her second album entitled “Ezra Furman & the Harpoons” and was released in 2008. Then in 2011, the album “Mysterious Power” arrived. Her solo album “Year of No Returning” was made in 2013. Furman became a renowned figure in Britain, signing under Bella Union label. Her critically acclaimed “Perpetual Motion People” came in 2015.
