Fabio Caressa is an Italian TV personality, football commentator, and journalist best known for his work in television. He was born in Rome, Italy, on April 18, 1967.
Caressa’s career commenced in 1986 with Canale 66. His journey into football commentary took flight during the 1986–87 Serie B season, marking the inception of a prolific vocation. In 1991, Caressa joined the inaugural team of commentators for the newly established Italian pay TV channel TELE+. Notably, he embarked on Serie A commentary for Sunday evening matches in 1998, solidifying his stature in sports media.
Beyond his roles in front of the camera, Caressa played pivotal behind-the-scenes roles as a co-director and director at Sky Sport.
In 2006, Caressa penned "Andiamo a Berlino," a compelling narrative capturing Italy's triumphant journey to clinch the FIFA World Cup. The book provides a unique perspective, offering readers a glimpse into the historic victory through the lens of an esteemed Italian sports personality.
