Fatman Scoop is an American rapper and radio host. He was born Isaac Freedman III on the 28th of November, 1979, in New York City, U.S. He started making music in the late 1990s, and in 1998 he released the single “Where U @?” with The Crooklyn Clan. The song peaked at number 77 in the U.S. R&B Single Charts. A year later, he had his major breakthrough, when he released the multi-award winner single “Be Faithful” which reached number one both in the U.K. and in the Ireland Single Chart. He has collaborated with major industry players such as Mariah Carey, Janet Jackson and Whitney Houston. In 2005 he was nominated for a Grammy Awards in the category Best Rap Song for his collaboration with Missy Elliott and Ciara “Lose Control”. The song also won a Grammy Award for Best Musical Video.
