Felicity Huffman Bio
Felicity Huffman is an American actress born in Bedford, New York on December 9, 1962. She made her debut on television in 1978 in the show, ABC Afterschool Special and continued landing roles in the shows Raven, Law & Order, The X-Files, Chicago Hope, Sports Night, Desperate Housewives, American Crime, Get Shorty, Frasier, The West Wing, Early Edition and more. In 1982 she made her debut in theatre in a production of A Taste of Honey. She made her debut on Broadway in 1988 in the play Speed the Plow. Huffman has also had roles on and off Broadway in productions of Bobby Gould in Hell, Dangerous Corner, The Loop, Jake’s Woman, Shaker Heights, November, The Anarchist, Boston Marriage and others. In 1988 she made her debut in film in the movie Things Change and has since had roles in the films Hackers, Magnolia, Door to Door, Raising Helen, Transamerica, Trust Me, Rudderless, Big Game, Cake, Krystal and more. Throughout her career she has been nominated for numerous awards and has won a Golden Globe Award, a Primetime Emmy Award, a Gold Derby Award, two Screen Actors Guild Awards among others. In 2012 she was inducted into the Hollywood Walk of Fame for her contribution to television.
