Fernanda Castillo Bio

Fernanda Castillo (born March 24, 1982 in Hermosillo, Sonora, Mexico) is a Mexican actress and former model.

Castillo started her career as a dancer and participated in the 2003 Nuestra Belleza Jalisco pageant, where she reached the finals. In 2007, she starred in the telenovela Muchachitas como tú, where she played Daniela Montalvo. She also had a recurring role as Florencia Echavarría in Al diablo con los guapos. In 2010, Castillo was given her first leading role as Marianela Ruiz y de Teresa Pavón in Llena de amor, a remake of the Venezuelan telenovela Mi gorda bella.

In 2013, she returned to Telemundo, where she joined the cast of the telenovela El Señor de los Cielos, where she played Mónica Robles, a powerful and ruthless woman who becomes the lover and partner of drug lord Aurelio Casillas. In 2016, she had a special participation in the series El Chema, where she reprised her role as Mónica Robles. She also starred as Alejandra in the 2018 Mexican film Ya veremos, a comedy-drama about a boy who makes a wish list before undergoing eye surgery.
