Finesse2tymes Bio
Finesse2tymes, who was born Ricky Hampton and grew up in Memphis' East Side, battled the law from an early age. He started rapping about his personal story after serving his first prison sentence at the age of 14 and did so with buddies like Moneybagg Yo and Blac Youngsta, with whom he established the group Memphis Greatest Underrated. The collective issued a self-titled EP in 2019 while he was incarcerated on a federal firearms charge. Several solo efforts were also released that year, including the mixtapes Hustle & Flow and Goin' Straight In. Even while incarcerated, Finesse continued to write and establish contacts. He worked swiftly on "Black Visa," "Luv N Hip-Hop," and "Gucci Flow" alongside Moneybagg Yo, DaBaby, and Gucci Mane. Some of these songs were included on the 90 Days mixtape, which was made available in December 2022 and debuted at number 57 on the Billboard 200 list in its first week.
