Fin Greenall (age 48), better known as Fink, is an English folk and indie rock singer, songwriter, guitarist, DJ and producer. Originally from Cornwall and Bristol, England, Greenall began his music career recording ambient music with Lee Jones and released an album titled ‘EVA’ under Ninja Tone subsidiary Ntone. By 1997, Greenall released a jungle-dance EP titled ‘Fink Funk’ followed by chill-hop ‘Front Side Blunt Side’ in 1998. Greenall’s first album was introduced in 2000 titled ‘Fresh Produce’, similar to ‘Front Side Blunt Side’s’ chill trip-hop vibe. Fink ventured into a more deep electronic sound with his 2006 album ‘Sideshow’. To broaden his horizons even further, Fink found himself immersed in acoustic-based blues and indie-folk melodies and song writing. His new found love of blues and folk, he collaborate and produce with the late Amy Winehouse as well as recording with Nitin Sawhney. In 2006, Greenall met drummer Tim Thorton and bassist Guy Whittaker which led to Fink’s transformation from singer to band. Staying true to Greenall’s indie sound, the band released their debut album, ‘Biscuits for Breakfast’. In 2009, Fink released an album ‘Sort of Revolution’ which features a collaboration with John Legend on the single, ‘Maker’. Being able to work with big artists, Fink was also invited to perform with the Royal Concertbouq Orchestra in Amsterdam. Fink’s music was featured on TV series’ such as House, Battlestar Galactica, The Walking Dead, Friday Night Lights and CSI NY. The band’s latest album ‘Resurgam’ arrived in 2017 before Greenall ventured on a solo acoustic tour to perform and release his new singles ‘Bloom Innocent’ and ‘New Singles’.
