Firewind Bio
Firewind is a metal band from Thessaloniki, Greece. The band was formed in 1998, and its current members include lead guitarist/vocalist Gus G., bassist/backing vocalist Petros Christodoulidis, drummer Johan Nunez, and lead vocalist Herbie Langhans. However, the band has changed its lineup severally over the last few years, with some members leaving and others joining. Their first project was a demo album titled “Nocturnal Symphony”, released in 1998.
Their sophomore studio album “Burning Earth” was released in 2003, followed by the third album “Forged by Fire” in 2005. The band went on to release the albums “Allegiance” in 2006, “The Premonition” in 2008, “Days of Defiance” in 2010, “Few Against May” in 2012, “Immortals” in 2017, and “Firewind” in 2020. The band has gone on tour in many countries worldwide to perform and promote their music. These include Europe, the United States, Asia, and Africa.
